I've been hearing a lot of comments from Toronto brides who are looking for an alternative place to register other than The Bay.
The Bay can be a wonderful place to register with their wide variety of items for every room in the house. For those couples who are already living together with a full stock of furnished goods, there are a number of other places to shop for registry gifts. Here are a few of our favourites:
Bowring - affordable home furnishings, decor and entertainment ideas. Couples can go to any store location to register and shop, however a larger location will offer more selection on goods. One of the largest locations is their home and design store at Winston Churchill and Dundas in Mississauga.
William Ashley - North America’s largest selection of china, crystal and gifts. The Bloor Street store is the place to go and allows guests to shop online, in store or via phone.
Pottery Barn - Pottery Barn is a great place to register if you’re more interested in home decor rather than electronics and kitchen gadgets. The Yorkdale mall location is a great place to start.
ehoneymoonregistry.com - For those couples who already have a house full of things, a honeymoon registry may be the way to go! Guests can contribute to a honeymoon of your choice in lieu of a typical registry gift.
