Honeysuckle and navy

This year's colour of the year, honeysuckle, has flooded media outlets in recent months. Everything from accent pillows to bridesmaids dresses have been tickled pink to keep up with this hot trend.

One of my favourite colour schemes is honeysuckle pink with navy. I love the contrast of a dark colour with a bright one. And the best part? It can be applied to a wedding in any season of the year; the more navy you incorporate, the darker your colour scheme will be (perfect for those fall and winter weddings), but add a brighter colour, like honeysuckle, and you've got a perfect pairing for a spring or summer wedding.
