It's a bachelorette party!

Bachelorette parties are a great excuse to party and bond with your girlfriends pre-wedding. Traditionally, they mark the transition from a single and independent lifestyle into the commitment of married life.  

In recent years, bachelorette parties have become a lot more creative!  It's not just about dancing and drinking and partying till the wee hours of the morning. Women can enjoy spa days, purse parties or dancing lessons. 

As you plan to host one of these parties, here are a few things to keep in mind:

* bachelorettes are usually organized and paid for by the wedding party, specifically the maid of honour. 

* anyone who is on the guest list from the bachelorette party should also be invited to the wedding.

* don't plan the party for the night before the wedding

* be creative and have fun!
